Modern music of the Black Sea

Fuat Saka comes from Trabzon. His music is folky, fast, rhythmical and lively. Fuat Saka has many followers, such as Volkan Konak's band. Saka plays acoustic guitar, but his songs are often accompanied by keyboard, flute, saxophone and kemence, the small fiddle. This sought-after and popular musician is one of the innovators of "Laz rock". The inhabitant of the Black Sea area are called Laz. Fuat Saka has recorded many albums and is very popular all over Europe. His folk style is very evolved and contains elements of pop and jazz music. For years he lived in Germany, but he now resides in Istanbul. Saka will bring three other musicians to Turkey Now.
